On June 27 at 3:00 PM in the building of the Ministry of Health, an official final information event will be held, dedicated to the completion of a significant health project with identification number BG16RFOP001-9.001-0001.
The initiative, funded by the Operational Program "Regions in Growth" 2014-2020, is aimed at significantly improving the capacity of outpatient medical care and transfusion hematology centers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with coronavirus infection, post-COVID syndrome, and other infectious diseases.
The project covers large-scale interventions in a total of 47 outpatient medical facilities, including two main directions: modernization of medical infrastructure and enhancement of diagnostic capabilities.
The primary task is the delivery of modern medical equipment that will support effective diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients with infectious diseases. In parallel, transfusion hematology centers will receive support to expand their capacity in terms of diagnostics and production of convalescent plasma.
The financial framework of the project amounts to the impressive 31,479,101.80 leva, which are entirely provided through grant assistance. This large-scale budget demonstrates the state's serious commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and medical services.
