The police officers in Vidin identified a 13-year-old boy who had committed aggressive actions against a 12-year-old boy in the city. The minor perpetrator is known to the Juvenile Pedagogical Room at the Vidin District Police Department for previous hooliganism and physical aggression.
The 13-year-old was returned by the police officers to the Crisis Center of the Complex for Social Services for Children and Families in Vidin, where he had been placed since March this year after a social report was prepared, according to which this service is the most suitable. A team of relevant specialists work with him at the center.
On June 22 at 6 pm, a signal was received on the 112 emergency number about a fight near an establishment in the central part of Vidin. Duty police officers from the district police department immediately went to the scene. There they found the 12-year-old victim, hit in the face area by another minor. The child was transported to the Emergency Medical Assistance Center, and after a medical examination, he was admitted for observation at the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment "St. Petka".
According to the collected data, numerous educational proceedings have been conducted against the 13-year-old perpetrator under the Law on Combating Anti-Social Behavior of Minors and Underage Persons. The materials on the case file opened today have been reported to the Vidin District Prosecutor's Office. The work on documenting the case continues according to the instructions of the prosecutor from the district prosecutor's office.
