A scooter delivery rider was knocked down on Stefan Stambolov Boulevard in Burgas, and traffic there is slow.

The courier fell near the traffic lights, just past the Trapezitsa roundabout, on the road to the Burgas university hospital. The boulevard is one of the busiest in the city. Footage from the scene shows the delivery scooter lying on the asphalt in a traffic lane.

A police patrol with flashing lights arrived at once. Officers are securing the scene, working out what caused the crash, guarding those involved and directing traffic to keep jams from getting worse.

Part of the road is blocked.
