A criminally charged man from Pomorie was arrested for possession of drugs.

Within the framework of an operation of the "Special Tactical Actions" unit of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Burgas, at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, at the intersection of "Ribarska" and "Pop Sava Katrafilov" streets, a 34-year-old man from Pomorie was detained. The suspect has a criminal record and has been convicted of drug possession, beatings, hooliganism, theft, and coercion.

During the personal search of the detained person, the police found 20 polyethylene bags, each containing 5 grams of marijuana. Later the same day, under urgent circumstances, the police searched a private residence on "Ribarska" Street, where they found another 20 bags of marijuana, a scale, and numerous empty plastic bags. A 54-year-old man from Pomorie was also detained at the address.

The total amount of the found narcotic substance is 200 grams. A pre-trial proceeding has been initiated in the case. Among the detainees are Hrisos Yanoulis, the brother of Anigana - the wife of Mityo Ochite, and Dimitar Dankov.
