Vazrazhdane will not back Andrey Gyurov or Kandev in the presidential run-off, party leader Kostadin Kostadinov said today at its first briefing since the vote.
Exit polls gave Iliana Yotova about 35% of the vote on Sunday, 25 October, and Gyurov about 32.5%. The two will meet in a run-off on 1 November. Kostadinov, Vazrazhdane's presidential candidate, finished third.

Analysts and media describe Vazrazhdane as a pro-Russian, anti-European and anti-NATO party. Russia has been waging a full-scale war on Ukraine since February 2022. The EU and Bulgaria back Ukraine and sanctions against Moscow.
"Gyurov will not get a single vote from Vazrazhdane. Not one," the party leader said.
Kostadinov said the party's view of Gyurov is entirely negative, both on principle and on ideology. "The stance against him is extremely harsh and very serious, on grounds of principle and ideology," he added.
Kostadinov said Vazrazhdane voters will split three ways: some will stay home, others will pick "I don't support anyone", and the rest will vote for Yotova and Valchev.
