Approximately 90 kg of contraband hookah tobacco was discovered in a storage unit located in an apartment building in the "Slaveykov" complex in Burgas. The operation was carried out by officers from the Economic Police sector of the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior.

During the inspection conducted yesterday, the officers found a total of 445 packages of various commercial brands. The goods were missing the mandatory tax stamp required by law. A 30-year-old man from Aytos was identified at the scene, and his involvement in the case is currently being clarified by investigators.

Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated regarding the case.
