The government has added €11.4m in spending to the 2026 Council of Ministers budget, the cabinet press office said. The money is for six government decisions.

Varna regional administration gets part of it for emergency repairs to a groyne in the Asparuhovo district, in the Chernomorets area. The money comes under Council of Ministers Decision No. 104 of 2026, which funds the Financial Supervision Commission, the Constitutional Court, the Council of Ministers and transfers to municipalities for 2026.

In Vidin, the money will pay to restore and preserve the murals in the "St Demetrius of Thessaloniki" cathedral. Money is also set aside for the road from the port to the "St Great Martyr George the Zographos" monastery on Mount Athos, where repairs are continuing.

The "Protection of the Mother of God" church in the Kremikovtsi Monastery "St Great Martyr George the Victorious" in Sofia municipality will be restored and repaired. Its utilities will be replaced, and it will get new murals and new church furnishings.

The state will buy a church and an adjoining building for the Bulgarian Orthodox community in Leipzig, in the German state of Saxony. Part of the money will also buy a property that will be handed over free of charge to the State Agency "Archives" to manage.

A separate decision gives another €270,540 to the budget of the State Agency "Technical Operations". The money covers commitments under a contract, already signed, for major repairs to a complex of buildings.
