Varna, Bulgaria – The Varna police are expanding the search for 16-year-old Georgi Dianov Chomakov, who has been missing for several days. The search operation is underway after the young man disappeared on August 18 in the early afternoon. Law enforcement officials are asking for the public's help as teams search the area to find traces of the boy.
Details about the disappearance
Georgi's disappearance was registered around 2:30 p.m. on August 18, when he left his mother's car near one of the city's largest shopping centers – MALL-Varna. Since then, all attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful, prompting an emergency operation by the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Varna.
The appeal for help, disseminated by the law enforcement authorities, includes a detailed description of the boy's appearance, as well as the clothes he was wearing on the day of his disappearance.
Georgi Dianov Chomakov is of a visible age between 16 and 17, is about 170 cm tall, and has a normal build. His distinctive features are brown hair and brown eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue knee-length shorts and a black T-shirt with a white pocket. He was wearing black sneakers. He also carried a black shoulder bag decorated with a yellow inscription "CAT".
Appeal for help
The police emphasize that when he left the car, the young man was not carrying any identification documents, a phone, or money, which further complicates his discovery and becomes an even greater cause for concern.
