MMA Triumph in Burgas: The World Looks to Bulgaria

"Ovais Yaqub is writing the next chapter in global MMA history, believe me," stated announcer Carlos Kremer after the Indian fighter's spectacular victory in Burgas. The BRAVE 107 gala set new records – over 200 million people followed the event on social media, and 3 million viewers watched it in real time.

"I want the world title to be defended here, in Bulgaria," Ovais Yaqub ambitiously declared after his success.

Khabib's Mentorship and the Rise of Indian MMA

Yaqub's streak of five consecutive victories is no coincidence. It is the result of the work of legendary mentor Khabib Nurmagomedov. The Indian fighter has established himself as the athlete with the greatest global ascent among talents from Asia.

Bulgarian Pride at "Arena Burgas"

Over 6,000 people in the arena witnessed the dominance of the Bulgarian fighters:

  • Atanas Bozhilov, Anton Yanchev, and Pavel Vladev: Uncompromising victories in front of a home crowd.
  • Stoyan Koprivlenski: The K-1 World MAX 2024 world champion made a powerful return after an injury, defeating the Dutchman Joey Kleyenburg.

BRAVE 107 once again proved that Burgas is a strategic point on the map of world combat sports.
