A German tourist suffered a broken wrist and a head laceration after falling inside a bus in the Sveti Vlas resort, the Burgas Regional Police Directorate reported. The incident occurred on "Sveti Vlasiy" St. when the 71-year-old driver, a resident of Gyulovtsa village in the Nesebar region, had to brake suddenly.

The maneuver was an attempt to avoid a collision with a car driven by a Ukrainian citizen who was attempting to make a right turn. As a result of the sudden braking, the 67-year-old woman lost her balance and fell inside the bus.

The victim sustained the following injuries:a fracture of the right wrist;

  • a laceration to the head.

    • After receiving necessary medical attention, the German tourist was released for home treatment. Her condition is not life-threatening.
