On June 27 at 6:00 pm at the "Bulgaria" hotel, the next meeting of a national project organized by the "Nana Gladuish - One of 8" Foundation in partnership with the Regional Health Inspectorate and with the support of the Municipality of Burgas will be held. The "Path to Health" project aims to promote awareness and a culture of prevention among women in Bulgaria.
The initiative is aimed at girls, young women, mothers and women of working age who want to know how to take care of themselves, when and what preventive examinations are recommended, and what are the possibilities for using health services in the country.
The meeting will provide the participants with practical and accessible information on women's health and prevention. Experts from the foundation and the Regional Health Inspectorate will answer questions such as: when should preventive examinations begin and how often should they be done, what are the most common risk factors and how can we avoid them, what programs does the state offer for prevention and early detection of diseases, and what is an electronic health record and how to use it.
The event will combine a lecture part and a discussion, so that the participants can receive both guidance and answers to their personal questions. During the meeting, there will be an informative presentation on caring for women's health at different stages of life, a presentation of the current national prevention programs, including information on HPV vaccination, an open discussion with experts from the Regional Health Inspectorate - Burgas and the foundation's team, as well as distribution of information materials.
The "Nana Gladuish - One of 8" Foundation was established 11 years ago by TV presenter Nana Gladuish - a woman who has gone through the diagnosis of breast cancer twice. Over the years, the foundation has established itself as a leading organization in Bulgaria for supporting women with breast cancer and for raising awareness and a culture of care for women's health. With the "Path to Health" project, the organization is expanding its focus on prevention and timely information.
The event is free to attend and is open to anyone who wants to learn more about caring for their health.
