Eurovision conquers the Bulgarian airwaves

This year's final of the Eurovision song contest turned into a true television phenomenon in Bulgaria. Data shows that the broadcast captivated nearly 1 million people in front of their screens.

At the peak moment of the broadcast, the Eurovision final gathered a record 895,000 viewers in front of BNT 1.

According to official data from the people-meter agency GARB, the live broadcast from Vienna achieved the following impressive results:

  • Average viewership of nearly 600,000 viewers throughout the entire broadcast.
  • Leading position for BNT 1 among all television channels in the country.
  • Impressive audience share of 45.7% (for the 4+ age group).
