In May, the Ethnographic Museum in Burgas invites its visitors to a unique for our country Ethnokitchen, where the Week of Roma Spring Dishes will be held. Residents of the village of Rusokastro, long-time friends of the museum, will be the main actors in this non-traditional event. They will present to the general public the secrets of Roma cuisine, demonstrating the preparation of various spring dishes.
On May 21, the recipe for Ribnik without fish, prepared with the first spring green beans, will be shown. On May 22, visitors will be able to try lean sarmi from sorrel with an appetizing sauce, and on May 23 - the unique lapadnik, bread with sorrel, green onions and gjosum. All these demonstrations will start at 11:30 am.
The museum aims to present the authentic Roma culinary tradition, providing the public with the opportunity to get acquainted with its features and enjoy the flavors of the spring Roma dishes.
