One person was killed and 32 others were injured in 30 traffic accidents recorded across the country over the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).

Since the beginning of the month, 319 accidents involving fatalities and injuries have been recorded. These incidents have resulted in 12 deaths and 392 injuries.

These data on road safety in the country are also important information for road users in Burgas and the region.

The total number of accidents registered from the beginning of the year to date amounts to 4,811. During this period, 326 fatalities and 5,969 injuries have been reported. In comparison, during the same period in 2025, there were 19 more road fatalities reported than in 2026.
