DPS leader Delyan Peevski will notify the prosecutor's office regarding the statements made by Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev, he told journalists in the parliamentary corridors. The move is prompted by allegations that funds from companies involved in supplying raincoats were diverted into a "piggy bank company," which was then used to pay for a politician's flights.

"Everything said today is a fabrication, yet another episode of "Demerdzhiev Pictures," stated Delyan Peevski. He emphasized that he and his family possess documentation for all their flights and paid for them personally. According to the DPS leader, neither he nor his family have participated in any public procurement processes.

Regarding the government's proposed measures to reduce fuel prices, Peevski stated that they are insufficient. "We will see if the measures are adequate and effective when they are implemented," he added.
