The Appellate Court in Burgas will rule today on the measure of restraint for 26-year-old Romanian citizen Strate Ciprian. This man is facing serious charges in connection with the tragic incident near "Vaya" lake, which took the lives of six migrants. Days ago, the District Court decided to detain Ciprian, ordering him to remain in custody. The investigation revealed shocking details about how this tragedy occurred. It turned out that the accused was driving the car at a speed of up to 150 km/h - drastically above the permitted limit.

According to information provided by the prosecution, Ciprian was supposed to receive a significant sum - 1250 euros per person - to transport the migrants to Sofia.
