Children in the preparatory groups at the "Radost" kindergarten in Kableshkovo have received school supplies and learning materials, Pomorie's local commission against juvenile delinquency says.

The gifts are part of the "Equal start for every child" campaign, which the commission is running again this year to make the move to first grade easier.

"I believe support for children starts with small gestures, but it leaves big marks — in their confidence, their curiosity and their wish to discover the world," said Diyana Kalcheva from the commission. She thanked the kindergarten for working with the commission on the campaign and for its daily care of the children.

An equal start is not just about school support, the commission said. It is also about trusting a child's abilities, encouraging curiosity, and helping the child build confidence.
