All stolen items, which were the object of the crime, have been found and seized following extensive procedural and investigative actions. During the investigation of the serious criminal case in the village of Krushevets, Sozopol Municipality, a total of four individuals were detained – three men aged 41, 37, and 36 from Sofia and the village of Novachene near Botevgrad, as well as a 39-year-old woman from the village of Krushevets itself.

The crime was solved within a matter of hours, thanks to the coordinated efforts of officers from the General Directorate of National Police, the Sofia Metropolitan Directorate of Interior, the regional directorates in Sofia and Burgas, and the Sozopol District Police Department. The report, received by the Sozopol District Police shortly after 5:00 a.m. this morning, led police to the perpetrators following crime scene inspections, searches, interrogations, and other investigative steps.

The victim of the attack is a 70-year-old man, who, according to initial data, was beaten by unknown persons and subsequently bound with duct tape. A number of valuables and items were taken from his home:

  • 2,000 US dollars;
  • 500 euros;
  • about 200 gold coins (pendari);
  • a mobile phone and a landline phone.

Pre-trial proceedings have already been initiated for a crime under Article 198 of the Criminal Code, classified as robbery. At present, work to clarify all details and circumstances surrounding the case continues, under the direct supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office - Burgas.
