Burgas will host a 3km run for young people aged 15 to 29 on 10 October, the Burgas International Youth Centre says. The "IYC-Burgas 3km Run" starts at 10:00, and those who don't want to run can walk the route instead. Sign-ups are open online until 9 October.

Organisers will hand out bib numbers from 08:30, and runners need to show up by then. The starting point is the car park barrier heading towards Solnitsite.

Only non-professional athletes can enter.

Every runner gets water and a dessert at the finish, and the top three boys and top three girls win prizes. Organisers say the goal is to get more young people moving and living more active lives.

Burgas's "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" University is partnering on the event, which forms part of the project "Burgas Youth - The Future Starts Now." The youth and sports ministry is funding it under Bulgaria's Youth Centre Funding Programme for 2026-2028.
