BMF Port Burgas will hold the 11th edition of its company cup on 17 October. Matches start at 1pm at the "Dialog 359 Arena" sports complex, and the winners will get tickets to a November First League match of PFC Ludogorec in Razgrad.

The five-a-side tournament has long been part of the city's sports calendar. Organizers say more than 1,000 students from 14 high schools have played in it over the years. Along with the cup, every player will get a gift.

Entry is free, and up to 12 teams will take the field. Each team needs five outfield players, a goalkeeper and up to four substitutes. Players from the professional top two divisions can't take part. The tournament is for young people aged 16 to 18, and each school can enter only one team. That keeps the contest for students and amateurs, not trained club sides.

Teams can sign up until 9 October 2026. Organizers expect the spots to fill up fast, and players' families will be able to cheer them on from the stands at Dialog 359 Arena.

Last year's anniversary edition brought together 11 teams from Burgas schools and ended in a close final. In 2024, the cup was won by Mehano PGMEE, and school teams from Burgas have turned the tournament into one of the city's best-known youth sports events each autumn. The format stays the same — team against team, playing as one unit, and a chance for students to represent their school outside the classroom.

For BMF Port Burgas, the tournament is part of its long-term support for young people in the region. The company holds the concession for the "Burgas East 2" and "Burgas West" port terminals and runs projects on sport, active living and teamwork skills. In 2025, the anniversary edition was tied to the "The Big Win Is Off the Pitch — Live Responsibly" campaign, aimed at road safety for young people. This year the focus is back on football, competition and giving students a chance to show character and team spirit.
