Burgas police officers apprehended a repeat offender for theft of a telephone handset and money from a minor

Employees from the Fifth Police Station in Burgas successfully revealed the perpetrator of a theft committed on April 28 this year in the area of the skate park in the "Izgrev" residential complex. The object of the crime was a 16-year-old youth from Sozopol, whose telephone headphones and the sum of 100 leva were stolen.

The investigation established that the perpetrator of the theft is a 24-year-old resident of Burgas with a criminal past. The detained man made full self-confessions and returned the stolen items to their rightful owner.

Work on the case continues, but now with a clear perpetrator, who is known to the police as a recidivist. This is another example of the quick and effective response of the authorities in Burgas in uncovering petty thefts and apprehending the suspects.
