Burgas, Bulgaria - The Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Burgas reports a series of incidents registered on the territory of the directorate in the last three days. The data, published by the "Press Center and Strategic Communications" Directorate, show a dynamic situation, marked by road accidents, criminal acts and fire.

According to the official information, two thefts, four other criminal offenses, one fire and five road traffic accidents (RTA) were registered during the reporting period. As a result of the police actions, seven police proceedings were initiated. At the same time, 17 crimes were uncovered.

The first of the uncovered crimes, according to the bulletin, is a road incident that occurred on September 26. On the same day, around 07:35 a.m. in the area of k.s. "Tarsis Nova" in Sunny Beach, a 37-year-old man from Nessebar, driving a "Iveco Daily" truck with Burgas registration, hit a parked "Renault Master" with Veliko Tarnovo registration. After the impact, the "Renault" hit two more parked cars. Subsequently, it was established that the "Iveco" had been taken without the consent of its owner, a 51-year-old man from Nessebar. The driver of the "Iveco" was detained by a police warrant for up to 24 hours, and pre-trial proceedings were initiated in the case.

On the same day, in k.s. "Meden Rudnik", officers from the Fourth Regional Police Department - Burgas stopped a "BMW 320 D" for inspection. During the inspection, it was established that the 44-year-old man from Burgas was driving after using methamphetamine. The driver was detained for up to 24 hours, and the car was seized. Fast-track proceedings were initiated in the case.

As a result of the actions of officers from the Regional Police Department - Sredets, it was established that the fire in dry grassy areas in the area of the village of Fakia, which occurred on September 21, was arson. A 69-year-old criminally liable and convicted man from the village, who made full confessions, was identified as the perpetrator. Work on the case continues.

On September 26 in the village of Ravnets, officers from the Regional Police Department - Kameno established that a 22-year-old man, driving a car, was driving after using amphetamine and methamphetamine. The driver was detained for up to 24 hours, and fast-track proceedings were initiated in the case.

In the afternoon, on the main alley to the "Poseidon" hotel in Sunny Beach, officers from the Regional Police Department - Nessebar stopped a "Mercedes CL 500" with foreign registration. The 35-year-old driver from Tvarditsa was driving after using amphetamine and methamphetamine. Two more men from Sveti Vlas were traveling in the car. During the inspection of the car, many objects were found and seized. The driver and his companions were detained for up to 24 hours, and the car was seized. A small bag with a white powdery substance and a paper twist with a red powdery substance were found during a personal search of one of the companions, the composition of which is being clarified. Work on the case continues.

Also on September 26, the Regional Police Department - Primorsko received a report that a "Fiat" car had hit another car in the area of Primorsko Port, after which it left the scene of the incident. The car was detected, driven by a 36-year-old unlicensed driver, driving after consuming alcohol with a concentration of 3.15 per mille. The driver was detained for up to 24 hours, and fast-track proceedings were initiated in the case.

On September 27, the Second Regional Police Department - Burgas received a report of a robbery in a dwelling. A 72-year-old man from the neighborhood "Dolno Ezerovo" reported that a man and a woman had entered his home and taken the amount of BGN 1400. As a result of immediate actions, the perpetrators were identified - criminally liable and convicted citizens of Sliven, who made full confessions. Part of the stolen amount was found and seized.

At the end of the reporting period, on September 28, on the road to the neighborhood "Dolno Ezerovo", a l.a. "Ford Focus" with Burgas registration, had a solo accident. The driver, a 44-year-old Uzbek citizen residing in Bulgaria, was driving after consuming alcohol with a concentration of 1.58 per mille and refused to give a blood sample. He was detained for up to 24 hours, and fast-track proceedings were initiated in the case.

Also, on September 29, on the Burgas boulevard "Zahari Stoyanov", officers from the "Specialized Police Forces" sector to the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Burgas stopped a "BMW X 3" for inspection. It was established that the 62-year-old driver was driving after consuming alcohol with a concentration of 2.48 per mille. The driver was detained for up to 24 hours. Fast-track proceedings were initiated in the case.

In addition to the criminal acts, the bulletin also reflects five RTAs.

The first of them happened on September 26 at an intersection in Nessebar. A "Setra" bus, driven by a 58-year-old man from Burgas, due to failure to keep a distance, caused a road incident with a "Peugeot" car with Ukrainian registration. A 55-year-old Bulgarian woman traveling in the bus was injured and admitted to hospital.

On the same day, on "Parva" street in Nessebar, in front of the "Diamond Residence" hotel, an 83-year-old man from Nessebar, driving a "Opel Zafira", caused a road incident. The incident involved an individual electric vehicle, driven by a 52-year-old man from Pernik, who suffered an injury to his left leg.

On September 26, on the Aytos - Măglen road, a l.a. "BMW 320 CI" with Burgas registration, had a solo accident. The 71-year-old driver from the village of Cherna Mogila was admitted to hospital with serious injuries.

On September 26, on the Burgas street "Stefan Stambolov", a 25-year-old man from Burgas, driving a "Dacia Sandero", ran a red light and caused a collision with a "Dacia Lodgy". The drivers of the two cars were examined and released for home treatment.

The last RTA registered in the bulletin is from September 27 in Sveti Vlas. An individual electric vehicle, driven by a 34-year-old Bulgarian, crashed into a concrete curb. The passenger, a 38-year-old Ukrainian citizen, was admitted to hospital with injuries. The driver was tested for alcohol use, and the breathalyzer registered 1.05 per mille. Work on the case continues.

In addition, the bulletin reports a fire in the area of the village of Preobrazhentsi, Ruen municipality. On September 27, a signal was received about burning dry grass and shrubs threatening the village. Five fire engines were sent to extinguish the fire. The fire affected three apiaries, orchards, lavender and municipal forest. Metal vans, beehives and plantations were burned. The causes of the fire and the value of the damage are being clarified.
