Burgas welcomes leading dental experts to an international congress

Burgas will welcome leading specialists in dental medicine, who will participate in the XXIII International Scientific Congress of the Bulgarian Dental Union (BDU). The forum will be held on June 12-14 at the International Congress Center and is part of the continuing education program of the World Dental Federation (FDI).

The scientific program includes lectures from 21 prominent speakers, panel discussions, sections with poster and oral presentations, as well as two practical courses. During the congress, the BDU will recognize the best scientific developments. A traditional large dental exhibition will accompany the event, providing an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest developments in the dental industry.

Prof. Dr. Tosun Tosun from Atlass University in Istanbul will present the topic "Implant treatment of periodontally compromised patients with laser therapies". Prof. Dr. Rosen Kolarov from the Medical University in Varna will discuss "Mucosal diseases - therapeutic approaches and risk assessment". Assoc. Prof. Dr. Milena Georgieva will address "Challenges in pediatric dental medicine".

Prof. Dr. Senem Kuvetli from Yeditepe University in Turkey will present "A contemporary approach to the clinical treatment and rehabilitation of severe early childhood caries". Dr. Hubert Goląbek from Poland will speak about "Endodontic microsurgery - from diagnosis to intentional replantation". Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elka Radeva from the Medical University in Sofia will discuss "Advantages of combined products in influencing pain and inflammation in dental practice".

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamen Kotsilkov will present the topic "To preserve or to extract - the modern dilemma", and Prof. Stefano Storelli from Italy will discuss "Long-term success of implant restorations: biological and prosthetic complications and their management". Dr. Francesca Ceruti will speak about "Modern endodontics".

Prof. Dr. Boyko Kostov Bonev will address "Development of approaches in ensuring dental health", and Dr. Silvia Petkova-Ivanova will present "Why your brand is the key to your future success?". Assoc. Prof. Dr. Petya Hadzhigeorgieva-Kanazirska will discuss "Imaging diagnostics in dental medicine".

During the congress, practical courses will also be held, including "Direct aesthetic restorations in the front. Shape, color, texture" with Dr. Borislav Rangochev and "Digital workflow with 3Shape with horizontal and vertical preparation margin" with Prof. Dr. Todor Uzunov.
