British Woman Arrested in Large-Scale Drug Distribution Operation in Nesebar

A large-scale police operation in the resort complex of Nessebar ended with the successful detention of a 51-year-old British citizen. The incident was registered around 4:00 PM during a thorough check in a residential apartment in the "Kamelia" neighborhood.

During the thorough investigation, law enforcement officers seized a significant amount of prohibited substances - approximately 150 grams of cannabis, packaged in multiple plastic bags. In addition to the main substance, experts documented three separate pieces of hashish, as well as three electronic devices directly related to the consumption of narcotics.

The detained foreigner was temporarily isolated for a maximum period of 24 hours while the ongoing investigation establishes all circumstances surrounding the case. This incident is part of a series of similar criminal activities in the Nessebar municipality region during the current summer season.

Statistics show an increasing trend of drug-related crimes in the area. Just weeks ago, two similar cases were documented - on May 19, marijuana was found with a 32-year-old man from Sveti Vlas, and at the beginning of the month, methamphetamine was seized from a 28-year-old driver from Varna.
