During today's meeting of the OECD Health Committee, Bulgaria successfully passed the technical review, which is a key stage in the process of joining the organization. The delegation, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Silvi Kirilov, presented a detailed analysis of the national health policy and strategic goals until 2030.
During the review, achievements were highlighted in several key areas, including expanding health insurance, modernizing information systems, and improving immunization coverage. International experts demonstrated an extremely positive attitude towards the presented results.
Mr. Stefano Scarpetta from the Directorate of Employment, Labor and Social Affairs informed the minister that following the Health Committee's decision, an official statement with a detailed assessment is forthcoming. The successful technical review opens significant opportunities for future cooperation and integration in the international health space.
