A Spectacle Under the Stars: A Highlight of SPICE Music Festival 2025
Today, August 8 at 8:00 PM, the sky above Burgas will turn into a stage for a spectacular airshow by the world-renowned aerobatic team “Romanian Hawks”. Organized as a special surprise within the SPICE Music Festival, the event promises high-octane excitement, aerial mastery, and unforgettable memories. In case of bad weather, the show will be rescheduled for August 9 so that no one misses this unique experience.
Who Are the “Romanian Hawks”?
The team is part of the Romanian Aeroclub and includes some of Europe’s most respected pilots: George Rotaru, Andrei Bănesaru, Teodor Munteanu, László Ferenc, and Valentin Cavalu. They fly Extra 300 aircraft—among the most popular for aerobatics worldwide. Their maneuvers are celebrated in international championships and bring distinction to the Balkans.
Program and Highlights
- Complex solo and group maneuvers including loops, chandelles, Cuban eights, and low-altitude turns.
- Flights will be choreographed to popular 90s music, creating a vibrant atmosphere above the Sea Garden and the port.

The airshow marks the 20th anniversary of the State Enterprise “Port Infrastructure” and symbolizes the region’s modern transformation. Safety standards are strictly upheld:
- No drones or unmanned aircraft allowed from 7:30 PM until the show concludes.
- All vessels must keep a safe distance from the performance area.
