An autistic teenager from Ukraine found after dramatic search in Sunny Beach

A team of Burgas law enforcement officers conducted a large-scale search, which lasted about three hours and ended with the successful localization of a minor foreign citizen. The incident occurred in the popular seaside resort of Sunny Beach, where the young man unexpectedly left his home space.

The initial signal about the disappearance came in the afternoon, which immediately mobilized the police officers. Using modern technological means, specialists from the Situation Center managed to track the teenager's movement through the available video surveillance systems.

While attempting to hide among a tourist group near a hotel pool, the young man was noticed by law enforcement officers. Random tourists played a key role in the detention, helping the police team neutralize his attempt to escape.

Subsequently, the 16-year-old Ukrainian citizen, suffering from autism, was handed over to his mother. Representatives of the Ministry of Interior confirmed that the boy is in good physical and mental condition after the successful rescue operation.
