Assen Vassilev on Radev's Entry into Politics: The Choice is Clear

The emergence of Rumen Radev on the political scene clarifies the picture in the country and gives people a choice of what kind of Bulgaria they want to live in - in a strong Europe, which has a strong army, which is not governed by a veto, or in a Bulgaria of two chairs, where they look both East and West, said in a statement to journalists the chairman of "We Continue the Change" (PP) Asen Vasilev.

Yesterday, Rumen Radev, in an address to the Bulgarian people, announced that he would resign before the Constitutional Court as president. Today it has already been deposited in the Constitutional Court. 

The best thing that happened at the protests at the end of last year is that Bulgarian citizens realized that the future of the state is in their hands, there is no need to wait for a savior. If they want something to happen, they have to do it themselves, Vasilev emphasized. We see the path of Bulgaria as a strong European state that works with a strong European Union, he answered a question about under what circumstances he sees the possibility of interaction with Radev.

Radev must answer several questions - the first is whether he wants a strong Bulgaria in a strong Europe, or does he want a Bulgaria according to the "Orbán model", which will play the role of a Trojan horse in the EU, Vasilev pointed out.
