The leader of "We Continue the Change," Assen Vassilev, stated in the National Assembly that the party's National Council will be convened to reach a decision after Andrey Gyurov announced his candidacy for president.

"I personally expressed my support for Mr. Gyurov even before the last session of Parliament concluded," commented Vassilev. He expressed confidence that Gyurov "will be a great president for the country and will be able to serve as a genuine check on the decisions that are being made."

In response to journalists' questions, the leader of the PP clarified that it is not up to him to decide exactly when Gyurov will make his candidacy official. Regarding the potential candidacy of Georgi Kandev for vice president, Vassilev pointed out that every head of state must have the freedom to make their own choice.
