Firefighters in Bulgaria extinguished 35 fires in the last 24 hours, resulting in three injuries. Teams responded to 65 calls for incidents. 18 fires caused material damage.

Over the past 24 hours, firefighters in the country have extinguished a total of 35 fires, the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" - Ministry of Interior announced. The information is published on the website of the department and reflects the events up to 6:00 AM this morning. Over the same period, three people were injured as a result of the fires.

Fire department teams responded to an impressive 65 calls for incidents. This underscores the tense situation that firefighters must manage.

Of the total number of fires, 18 caused direct material damage. Among them, 10 occurred in residential buildings, raising questions about the safety of homes and measures to prevent fires. One of these tragedies occurred in an industrial facility, and three were registered in vehicles. The remaining fires with damage affected other facilities.

Another 17 fires did not cause material damage. Of these, the largest number occurred in waste - 13. One fire occurred in cooking appliances and chimneys, indicating a potential risk of domestic incidents. The remaining fires without damage occurred elsewhere.

In addition to extinguishing fires, firefighters also performed 25 rescue activities and support operations. Five of them were related to accidents in vehicles, highlighting the need for a quick response to road accidents. One operation was undertaken during domestic or industrial incidents, while 18 were in the form of technical assistance. One operation is also noted, in which assistance was provided to injured citizens.

In addition, five false calls were registered during the day. This further burdens the services and distracts attention from the actual emergency situations.
