A 19-year-old with a prior criminal record from Burgas was apprehended by officers from the Fourth District Police Department for committing a theft. The crime took place on September 8 at approximately 10:30 p.m. in an apartment located in block 112 in the "Meden Rudnik" residential complex.

According to the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, the suspect stole 1,400 euros from the home of a 40-year-old local resident. During the course of the investigation, the perpetrator made a full confession, and law enforcement authorities recovered and seized a portion of the stolen money.

By order of the prosecutor's office, the 19-year-old from Burgas has been placed in pre-trial detention for a period of up to 72 hours. Work on the case is ongoing.
