Student creative contest honors the best stories and films
The International Student Literary and Film Contest "Whoever Saves a Human Life, Saves an Entire Universe", organized by the Alef Center, will for the fourth consecutive time select a winner, determined through an online public vote. Among the favorites of 4,979 readers and viewers are Ivelin Ivanov with the story "The Radiance of Self-Sacrifice", Nikola Kirov with the story "The Last Flight" and Hristo Todorov with the film "The Shadow of History". The recipient of the Audience Award will receive a monetary award, provided by the Ministry of Culture, and will be honored at an official ceremony on May 31, 2025 at the Cultural Center - NHK in Burgas.

The forum has become a significant platform for youth creativity, receiving institutional support. From its twelve editions so far, over 2,200 young authors from 15 countries have participated. The nominated artists will take part in the 3-day International Student Literary and Film Festival "Friendship - Meaning and Salvation", which will be held from May 30 to June 1, 2025 in Burgas. The program includes meetings with renowned artists, creative workshops, and educational games.

The culmination of the festival will be the awards ceremony for the winners of the competition on May 31. The works of the most talented authors will be published in a collection, designated by the Ministry of Education as a unique educational resource for the study of literature and history, created by students for students. The project is implemented with the support of the Municipality of Burgas and the Ministry of Culture.
