Burgas: A Summer Kaleidoscope of Art, Sports, and Emotions

Summer in Burgas turns into a true festival of diversity, with the municipality preparing a large-scale program under the slogan "Adrenaline, Music, and Cinema Under the Stars". The official platform www.gotoburgas.com provides complete information about all upcoming events.

Among the leading attractions is the Sand Sculpture Festival with the theme "City of Fairy Tales", which will bring to life favorite characters like Alice, Cinderella, and Baron Munchausen. Parallel to this, the traditional Classic Car Parade will be held on July 5th in front of the "Flora" Expo Center.

Sports challenges start with the fifth edition of the "Port-Burgas" swimming marathon, which expects over 300 competitors in two disciplines – 1000 and 3000 meters. Martial arts enthusiasts can enjoy the international MMA event BRAVE CF 97 on July 12th at Burgas Arena.

St. Anastasia Island becomes the epicenter of cultural events with a rich program of theatrical performances, concerts, and shows. Among the stars are Grafа, Beloslava, Poppy Hans, and international performers like Agathangelos Agathangelou.

Music fans will have the opportunity to enjoy the jazz festival, which will be held in two periods – from July 17th to 19th and from August 14th to 17th. The festival will feature musicians from Germany, Scotland, Spain, and Bulgaria.

The Burgas International Film Festival (BIFF) will delight cinema lovers from July 12th to 18th with an innovative program, including special screenings for hearing-impaired people through SDH subtitles.

For wine and gastronomy enthusiasts, the thirteenth edition of Wine & Spirits Fest Burgas will be held from July 25th to 27th at the International Congress Center of the Sea Port.

Folklore traditions will be preserved through the Sunday Horo at the Balustrade of the Marine Casino Cultural Center, which presents authentic Bulgarian dances and customs every Sunday.

Children also have a special place in the program – the "Seaside Festival" on July 26th and 27th will showcase various creative groups and individual performers.

The culmination of the month will be the 42nd edition of the National Competition "Burgas and the Sea" on July 26th at the Summer Theater, which promises unforgettable emotions for all attendees.
