Discovery from Rusokastro: Ceramic Handle Reveals Ancient Stick Figure Drawing
Burgas archaeologists discovered a unique depiction of a human figure on a ceramic handle from the medieval city of Rusokastro. The figure, drawn with straight lines, likely represents a young girl. The excavations were funded by the Municipality of Kameno, the Ministry of Culture, and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria in 2025.
