The Municipality of Burgas announces a temporary suspension of the traffic light system at an intersection.
The Burgas Municipality informs that from May 27 to May 30, 2025, repair work will be carried out on the traffic light system at the intersection of Yanko Komitov Street and Lazar Madjarov Street in the P.R. Slaveykov residential area. During this period, the traffic lights will be turned off, and drivers and pedestrians are urged to be extremely careful and to obey the traffic rules.
Free parking in Burgas on the occasion of the Day of Slavic Literacy and Bulgarian Enlightenment
In observance of the national holiday on May 24, paid parking in the blue and green zones of Burgas will be canceled for the day. The green zone will return to its normal regime on Sunday and Monday.

Burgas Municipality plans a large-scale Archaeological and Thermal Park based on the ancient Aquae Calidae
The Municipal Council of Burgas approved the proposal of Mayor Dimitar Nikolov for the construction of a large cultural-historical complex, including an archaeological park, a thermal park, and a forest park on the site of the ancient Aquae Calidae - the Burgas mineral baths. The project envisages the reconstruction of archaeological finds, the construction of a new spa complex, bungalows for accommodation, an educational archaeological camp, and additional attractions for visitors.
