The Deputy Economy Minister: The euro will stimulate the Bulgarian economy and increase incomes
The deputy minister of economy and industry Nevena Lazarova commented in an interview for Bulgarian National Radio that the convergence reports of the ECB and the EC positively evaluate Bulgaria's readiness to adopt the euro. She emphasized the benefits of introducing the single currency, including stimulating the economy, trade and investments, as well as increasing incomes and purchasing power.

Students, teachers and experts from 11 schools in the country developed skills in critical thinking, safe behavior in the digital environment and responsible attitude towards media content. The initiative "Laboratory for Digital and Media Literacy" is implemented under the National Program of the Ministry of Education and Science "Innovations in Action".
Cross-border cooperation Bulgaria-Serbia: Investments to improve services and disaster preparedness
The Cross-border Cooperation Programme (INTERREG V-A) Bulgaria - Serbia 2021-2027 provides nearly 12 million euros for the modernization and expansion of small and medium-sized businesses in border regions. Additionally, over 4.6 million euros will be allocated for the development of new or improvement of existing public services. At the same time, nearly 7.3 million euros are invested in preparing the population and professional teams to respond to natural disasters and emergencies in the cross-border region.
The Lithuanian president calls for tougher EU sanctions against Russia
The President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nauseda, harshly criticizes the European Union for the insufficient sanctions against Russia. He insists on the complete exclusion of all Russian banks from the SWIFT system and calls for new, more stringent measures, including against key Russian companies such as Gazprom, Rosatom, and Lukoil.

Czech investments in Bulgaria reach half a billion euros

It became clear that the total investments from the Czech Republic in Bulgaria amount to 486.2 million euros, and the Chamber will play a key role in promoting Czech investments in the country.

The library of SU "Lyuben Karavelov" in Nessebar awarded three 3rd-grade students who borrowed the most books during the 2024/2025 school year. A total of 389 children are active readers, with 205 of them borrowing 5 or more titles, and 121 having read 10 or more books.
