Tomorrow in Sozopol, a patrol of the coastline will be conducted in connection with the disappearance of the fishing vessel with three people on board in the area of Cape Korakya. This was announced by the press center of Sozopol Municipality.

The initiative aims to support the actions of the competent authorities involved in the search for the vessel and its crew.

The meeting point is in front of the building of Sozopol Municipality, and the starting time is 8:30 AM. Participants are expected to head along the coast towards Primorsko.

The municipal administration calls on all volunteers who have the opportunity and desire to participate to be on time.

Let's provide assistance with joint efforts and show empathy with everyone who is currently involved in the discovery and rescue of the ship and sailors, the Municipality calls.

BTA recalls that around 11:10 AM today, a signal was received from the Coastal Center – Varna to the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center for fishing vessel VN 8112, with which radar contact was lost in the area of Maslen Nos. There are three people on board. 

Servicemen from the Navy (VMS) and the frigate “Drazki” joined the search and rescue operation of the three-member crew of the fishing vessel.
