New horizon for Bulgarian tourism with "Destination ABUJET"

The Bulgarian Association of Travel Journalists and Writers (ABUJET) is launching the inspiring initiative "Destination ABUJET". The goal is clear: to bring out of obscurity little-known but extremely attractive places in the country that have huge potential to attract tourists.

"There are hundreds of places throughout the country that hide small grains of sand, which, like in an oyster, can turn into priceless pearls," says ABUJET Secretary General Plamen Starev.

How are the new tourist destinations selected?

The selection process is strict and professional:

  • Selection: From 26 submitted applications, an expert committee chose 17 finalists that meet high criteria.
  • Voting: Currently, the association members are determining the winners through a point system.
  • Transparency: The ranking will be presented publicly to draw attention to regions that have preserved their nature and culture.

Where to follow the results?

The final three and the full list of nominated places will be published on the official ABUJET website and on the specialized portal mytravelzone.bg. The initiative is a genuine invitation to look beyond popular routes and experience the authentic wealth of Bulgaria.
