The Asian Festival in Sofia - a bridge between cultures, expanding tourism opportunities

On June 14, 2025, the fifth edition of the Asian Festival under the motto "United in Diversity" is held in the capital. The event is organized by the embassies and diplomatic missions of China, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, India, Mongolia and Vietnam, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism.

The Minister of Tourism, Miroslav Borshosh, emphasizes the strategic importance of festival tourism for Bulgaria and states that the Asian Festival is not only a cultural event, but also a clear sign of the country's openness to partnership with Asian countries. Through such initiatives, Bulgaria demonstrates its readiness for joint work and expansion of tourist exchange, offering travelers from Asia history, nature, culture and hospitality.

The Ministry of Tourism will continue to support events that contribute to cultural dialogue and establish Bulgaria as an attractive destination for tourists from Asia, in order to build sustainable partnerships and expand the presence of our country as a preferred tourist destination with diverse tourism opportunities in distant markets.
