Woman Seriously Injured After Parking Lot Incident in Burgas

A 78-year-old woman is fighting for her life in a hospital after becoming the victim of an accident in a parking lot in the Black Sea city of Burgas. The Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior confirmed the information, reporting the serious case.

The accident, which cast a shadow over the quiet afternoon, happened yesterday, November 6, around 1:57 PM on "Chataldzha" Street No. 10 in Burgas. The place is behind the popular store "Nov Dom", where there is often a lot of activity.

According to information from the police, a "Mercedes E 220" car with Burgas registration caused the accident. The car, driven by a 50-year-old man from Burgas, made a reversing maneuver when it hit the pedestrian.

The woman, also a resident of Burgas, suffered serious injuries. Fractures of the skull in the facial and occipital regions were established. She was immediately transported to "Heart and Brain" hospital, where doctors are fighting for her life. Her condition remains critical.
