Teams from the Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" have started 24-hour control along the route Botevgrad - Pleven - Vratsa - Montana - Vidin. The decision was made by order of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadzhov and will be applied without time limitation.
The inspectors will monitor that the trucks do not overtake recklessly and move at the speed allowed for the section. They will respond to signals submitted through the National Coordination Center for Road Safety - Center 112, as well as to information about violations from other state authorities and citizens.

The inspectors will control the technical condition of the vehicles, the wear of the tires, the securing of the loads, the driving and rest times of the drivers and other requirements. After on-road inspections, in case of established violations, comprehensive inspections will be carried out at the transport companies.
