Increased control of freight vehicles on Trakia Motorway

Today, from 10 to 15 hours, a joint inspection of the "Road Police", the Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" and the "Road Infrastructure Agency" will be carried out on 155 km of Trakia Motorway in the direction of Stara Zagora. The inspection is in response to the increased number of road incidents and will focus on commercial vehicles.

During the operation, compliance with traffic rules, technical condition and registration of motor vehicles and trailers, compliance with driving and rest times, as well as the presence of necessary transport documents will be monitored. Compliance with the requirements for permissible masses and dimensions of commercial vehicles moving on the roads will also be checked.
