Julyana Antonova-Murata will meet readers today in Burgas and tomorrow in Nessebar to introduce her new book, "Sate, Sate, Japan."
The Burgas event starts at 6:30pm at the Peyo K. Yavorov regional library. The Nessebar event follows on October 6 at 5:30pm at the Yana Laskova chitalishte. Both stops are part of the author's nationwide tour.
"Sate, Sate, Japan" is the fifth book by the diplomat and writer about the land of the rising sun. It brings together short, spontaneous stories about kindness, humanity, Japanese culture and the art of living in the moment.
Organisers call it her most personal and most emotional book yet. The stories are about Japan, but also about love, hope and the people who give us strength to go on. Her message: kindness wins out even in the hardest moments.
In Japanese, "sate sate" is the moment when you stop, sigh and ask yourself: "So, where to now?"
The book will be on sale at the events, signed by the author.
