Triumphant Performance by Yacht Club "Chernomorets Burgas"

Yacht Club "Chernomorets Burgas" solidified its position as a leader in Bulgarian sailing after an indisputable performance at the National Championship for youth and non-Olympic classes in Primorsko (August 1-4, 2026). The club was the only participant with representatives in all three classes – ILCA 4, Cadet, and 420, winning titles in every discipline.

"This is proof of the consistent work of our coaching team and the high level of preparation," the club shared.

Championship Awards by Class

  • Cadet Class: Roman Kononov and Andrey Lesnichiy won the title after a dramatic final race. Adriyana Bozhinova and Kamen Brezovski complemented the success with bronze medals.
  • 420 Class: Egor and Yura Veretelnik dominated with six victories, while Yavor Brezovski and Vladimir Nikitin earned the vice-championship titles.
  • ILCA 4 Class: Reya Parusheva triumphed among girls under 18, and Anna Kononova made an impressive debut with a fourth-place finish.

Despite the variable conditions – from stormy winds to complete calm – competitors such as Sofia Filcheva, Simeon Emiliyanov, and debutant Zarik Zadikyan showed excellent skills and potential. The results of Yacht Club "Chernomorets Burgas" once again confirm that the school continues to build the elite of Bulgarian sailing.
