Wind turbines produced 12% of Europe's electricity over the past 24 hours, data from the WindEurope Power Numbers platform shows. Bulgaria's share stayed at 0.5%.

Onshore turbines generated 647 gigawatt-hours, or 10.7% of all power in Europe. Offshore wind farms added another 78 gigawatt-hours, or 1.3%.

Montenegro had the biggest share of wind in its power mix, at 57.7%. Sweden came next with 50.5%, followed by Denmark with 48.2%.

By output, Sweden led with 147.7 gigawatt-hours, followed by France with 81.8 and Spain with 77.8 gigawatt-hours. Bulgaria produced 0.4 gigawatt-hours of wind power.
