Weather in Bulgaria: Cloudy and Rain (Forecast for the next few days)

Over the next 24 hours, it will be cloudy over the country, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced. There will be rain in many places, mainly in Southern Bulgaria and the mountains, with significant amounts. The wind will be moderate, temporarily strong from east-northeast, after noon in the central southern regions from the south. Minimum temperatures will be between 4° and 9°, in Sofia – around 4°, maximum – between 7° and 12°, in Sofia – around 7°. Atmospheric pressure will continue to decrease and will be significantly lower than the monthly average.

Over the Black Sea coast, it will be cloudy with rain, with more significant amounts along the southern coast. A moderate, temporarily strong wind will blow from the northeast. Maximum temperatures will be 9°-10°. The sea water temperature is 8°-10°. The sea swell will be 3-4 points.

In the mountains, it will be cloudy with rain, in the Rila-Rhodope region and the Stara Planina mountains, significant in amount. In places above 1400-1800 meters above sea level, the rain will turn into snow. A strong wind will blow from south-southeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 2°, at 2000 meters – around minus 2°.

On Friday and Saturday, it will remain mostly cloudy, with short-lived rain in places, in more places in the afternoon hours. On Friday, the wind will weaken, for a short time it will have a southern component, subsequently it will orient from the northwest, in Eastern Bulgaria from the northeast and will again be moderate. Daytime temperatures will rise and the maximums will be between 11° and 16°.
