Weather in Bulgaria: Rain and Clouds over the Danubian Plain

During the night, the sky will remain overcast over the expanses of the Danubian Plain and the picturesque forests of Ludogorie, and the rain will continue to fall, according to reports from the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR). Significant amounts of precipitation are expected in some places. In the southeastern regions of the country, on the contrary, the precipitation will gradually weaken, and in some places it will temporarily stop.

During the day, the conditions will remain similar " cloudy and rainy weather. Northern Bulgaria will be affected to a greater extent, as the amount of rain there will be more significant.

The wind will be moderate, and its direction is from the west-northwest. In Eastern Bulgaria, the wind will blow from the northeast. Minimum temperatures will vary from 6 to 13 degrees, with thermometers in the capital showing around 7 degrees. Maximum temperatures during the day will reach between 10 and 18 degrees, and in Sofia they will be around 10 degrees.

Along the Black Sea coast, the weather will be cloudy and rainy. The northern coast will be subject to significant rainfall. A moderate wind will blow from the north-northeast. Maximum temperatures along the coast will be between 16 and 28 degrees. The sea water temperature will be between 19 and 21 degrees. The sea swell is expected to be 3 points.

In the mountains, the weather will be cloudy, windy and it will rain. At an altitude below 1500 meters, the precipitation will be from rain, and above this level " from snow. Significant snowfall is expected in the Central Balkan region and in the Rila-Rhodope area. A new snow cover will be formed, and in combination with the strong northerly wind, conditions for blizzards will be created. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 7 degrees, and at 2000 meters _q_ around 1 degree.
