The country emphasizes that Iran should not be allowed to develop a nuclear program with military purposes, and considers that the preservation of the international legal order and the mechanisms for arms control and non-proliferation is of utmost importance.

In accordance with the findings and recommendations of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other international organizations, Bulgaria calls for the de-escalation of tension and diplomatic efforts to find a solution to the situation.
