The Ministry of Defense announces that military equipment and personnel from various garrisons in Bulgaria will move to the "Koren" training ground to participate in a series of exercises under the name "Bulgarian Defender - 25". This is part of the larger exercise "Defender-25" of the United States Army Command in Europe and Africa.

Military personnel and equipment will move from the cities of Sofia, Karlovo, Kazanlak, Sliven, Chirpan, Belene, Asenovgrad and Plovdiv to the "Koren" training ground. Transporting the participants will be most intense on May 25, 26, 27 and 30 and June 6, 2025.

The exercise "Bulgarian Defender - 25" (DE25) combines a series of training sessions, linked by a common scenario and concept, as part of the larger exercise "Defender-25" of the US Army Command in Europe and Africa. In early February 2025, participants in an exercise conducted on the territory of Romania, as well as Spanish formations that participated in an exercise on Bulgarian soil, moved through the territory of Bulgaria.

From February 17 to 28, at the "Koren" Training Ground, military personnel and equipment from the Land Forces conducted a tactical exercise with live firing "BULWARK", which was linked to the NATO exercise "Steadfast Dart - 2025".

The military convoy passing through the central streets of Dobrich on January 24, 2025, startled the local residents, showing the activity of the preparation for the upcoming large-scale military exercises.
