Alessandra Vasileva from the "Nesebar 2000" Sailing Club took second place in the junior girls' category at the National Sailing Championship in the Optimist class. The competition took place in the waters off Pomorie, where the club was also represented by Vincenzo Nikolov, who placed eighth among the boys.

The achievements of the young sailors were commended by the Mayor of Nesebar Municipality, Nikolay Dimitrov. "Supporting our children and creating conditions for sports are among our key priorities at the Municipality of Nesebar, because sports help build them into strong, disciplined, and healthy individuals. We are proud of every one of their successes and will continue to stand behind the young talents of Nesebar," he stated.

The competitors from Nesebar have two more important events ahead of them. From September 5th to 8th, they will participate in the "Saedinenie" Regatta in Tsarevo, and immediately after, from September 10th to 13th, they will compete in the Balkan Championship in the city of Volos, Greece.
